Natalie Schmidt is a true Burlesquercise success story beginning as a student in 2010 and rising through every level of training. Her talent and charisma quickly earned her a place in the company's elite performance troupe, The Fierce Five. In 2014, she further challenged herself by stepping into the world of competitive Latin dance, and by 2019, her passion for teaching led her to begin formal instructor training. She was also featured as a professional dancer with Calgary’s very own “Dancing With The Stars”.

Her journey gives her a unique ability to understand exactly what it feels like to be new, to feel challenged, and to grow in confidence over time. Often described as a “bubbly drill sergeant,” Natalie blends infectious energy with crystal-clear instruction, breaking down choreography in a way that makes even complex movement feel achievable. With a strong performance background and years of competitive Latin training, she helps students build stage presence, precision, and confidence.

When she is not lighting up the dance floor, Natalie lives her best life with her family and balances it all with a full-time career as a paralegal.
