Jean Marc is a Hit with Donna

My oh my, what effect Jean Marc Genereux has on the ladies...

Donna says: I love his cheeky smile! He made me feel like a dancer.
Click this blog to read more...

Hey Di this is for you and Jean- Marc,
I switched up my style a bit for fun.
Just go with it when you read,
it unfolds as it goes along...

EMAIL FROM DONNA

Dear Lorraine,
You being in the know with these things, some guy, dancer, choreographer, whatever, named John or Jean or Marc, is coming to my dance class tomorrow...you know anything about him?

Dear Donna,
O M G are you kidding me? You mean Jean-Marc from SYTYCDC ?
Your teacher Di must have friends in high places!

Dear Lorraine,
I tuned in to see what all the fuss is about and I learn that this Jean- Marc person,
is impeccably dressed, professional, well groomed, well spoken, very focused, and for me, a newbie...a wee bit scary. But I gotta trust Di on this one, if he is a mentor and friend of Di’s then other than being talented he must be a nice guy, I could not see Di putting up with anything else.

So off I go to class, not knowing what to expect, and imagine my delight when Di and Jean- Marc walk into class without a red carpet! No convoy, no paparazzi just a multi tasking Di on her blackberry and a smiling Jean -Marc carrying two umbrellas even though it was not raining. Perhaps he was waiting for the rain so he could do a Gene Kelly?

And the class...it was exquisite. The man is talented, charming and funny. I do think he should switch to decaf coffee and SOON. He had an abundance of energy and smiles. He was enjoying himself, it was contagious. My first brush with dance royalty and he made it so easy and natural, I did not feel one bit self conscious.

I was so lucky to see his thought process at work, but the best part of the class was his earnest and heartfelt speech at the end. He gathered us around him and acknowledged our courage to take a dance class AND to dance at the gala. He was proud of us for catching on quickly, and acting professionally when learning new steps. But most of all he encouraged us to continue to dream. He shared with us that he is thankful each day for being able to do what he does....he is LIVING THE DREAM! It could not have happened to a nicer or more talented guy!

Oh yes, one more thing....Jean Marc touched my boa, he danced with my boa....and no you can’t have it!

Dear Donna
